The hush money payment was investigated by the feds in 2018, and Cohen's own lawyer sent the FEC a letter saying that "Cohen is a liar" and "Trump had nothing to do with the payment", signed Robert J. Costello council for M. Cohen. That's not even addressing the convoluted legal theory used to create these charges at the state level, with the statute of limitations expired.

Costello, Cohen's laywer, stating that "Cohen is a liar" and "Trump had nothing to do with the payment". You should do some research before sticking your neck out like this.

  10.  @zuzupetals4794  You guys are way out on a limb with one of the weakest cases ever. You Democrats didn't preserve your segregation by putting MLK in jail. (to be fair you did stop him by assassinating him. But then it was too late.) Putting Trump in jail over this cooked up records case would be the best thing you could do for him. The Feds ruled in 2018 that it wasn't a campaign contribution. And all you have is Cohen retainer checks.

It's a cooked up charge based on a campaign violation that didn't exist. Federal campaign law is enforced by the FEC/DOJ. There was no violation. John Edward made a $900,000 hush money payment and was found not guilty. Cohen's lawyer even wrote a 2018 letter to the FEC stating "Cohen is lying" and "Trump had nothing to do with the payment." The only reason this case is happening is because Trump is the target. I mind you, that Beria, the protoge of Stalin who said that, was executed himself.
