@lacrymologyst It's not feelings. It's not just unethical but unconstitutional, to prosecute a case without a clear underlying crime. It's a 6th Amendment violation. It's an old tactic of despots and dictators to bring a case against their enemy, but without any clear charges, so the defendant cant mount a defense.

@MrMartinSchneider Johnathan Turley is a reliable legal professor, same with Dershowitz. The other legacy media, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, etc. are pure political hacks. You don't have to be a lawyer to know this is pure BS. It's not just a weak case. It's legal malpractice. A case brought for political reasons without a specified crime. That is unconstitutional.

@lacrymologyst "nah, it's feelings." It is for you. Name the crime that is being charged in this case. Trump is being charged with falsifying business records (well ignore for now, that he didn't make the records), in order to cover up a crime. Now NAME THE CRIME, because the prosecution hasn't.

@Tamiqt2 Nice projection. I knew this was nonsense in 2023. Fox news didn't tell me anything. Try to use your brain. There is no underlying crime in this case. He's charged with a misdemeanor with expired statute of limitations. Bragg enhanced it to a felony, by using "falsified documents in the furtherance of a crime". There is NO CRIME listed in the indictment or given in court. And that's just the basis of the case. You realize that Trump never paid the woman. It was Cohen, and Cohen who made the book keeping. Trump didn't sign the NDA. And Daniels owes Trump $670,000 from failed lawsuits. Cohen's lawyer wrote a signed letter to the court in Cohen's trial stating that Trump had nothing to do with the payment. And this doesn't even get to the witnesses for the prosecution. Cohen and Daniels are serial liars. Cohen has perjured himself in court and been chewed out by judges many times, on top of being a convicted liar. If Bragg gets a conviction here, this will go to appellate courts and Bragg's career as a prosecutor will be over.
