  1. Goudy is being naive. Fauci is lying and was visibly shaken because the NIH wasn't supposed to be supporting gain of function research, and such research could have lead to the pandemic that killed millions. You would be either lying or hiring a lawyer if you were in that position. It's politics, not a matter of just having an honest discussion.

  2. The NIH and Fauci changed the technical meaning of "gain of function research" to cover for the fact that they were funding it when there was a ban. This could have lead to the deaths of 4 million people, and on twitter they're defending Fauci.
