The bill can't be that bad if their talking point is something that was already banned. Candidates would order pizzas so that people would vote, which is an illegal bribe.

2 cents You're repeating lies. The law expands early weekend voting (both Sat and Sun, two weeks ahead). You can donate food and water, by giving it to the poll workers to distribute. The law rightfully bans partisan electioneering at the polls.

@charlesljones2454 Sure. When you lie about what's in the bill, people will agree with you. It's illegal to give out bribes to voters in line, including food and drinks. That's how the Democrats cheated. They had Biden champaign workers working as poll workers, so all judgements on disqualifying ballots without correct signatures, dates or postal stamps would be judge in a way favorable to Biden.

@charlesljones2454 The law includes giving out anything for free to voters. This is the stupidest talking point. Crooked politicians would order pizzas to the polling stations, as a way to buy votes.

@charlesljones2454 This talking point is a lie. The law explicitly says that poll workers can distribute drinks. You can donate food and drink, but it has to be distributed by the poll workers. It's a common law to prevent electioneering at the polls--giving people things in exchange for votes.
