This is likely to backfire badly for the Democrats. The explanation I'm hearing is that "Trump illegally took classified documents from the White House". There's a huge problem with that story. The President has ultimate say in the classification of documents. So Trump couldn't have "stolen" classified documents. At most he declassified them and stored them in his house. He has to make them available to those qualified to request them. But that would never lead to a raid. In short, they're justification doesn't hold water.
