@jeremyramsey8804 We already know he has immunity in the documents case. An ex-president has the constitutional right to have access to their presidential documents.

@jeremyramsey8804 SCOTUS is obviously taking this case because the appellate court ruled the president has "no immunity". But, for example, judges have immunity, so it's likely presidents have some.

@normanmiller604 That went to the SCUTUS because the hack appellate court ruled that the president has "no immunity". The SCUTUS wouldn't have taken the case if they thought that was reasonable.

@normanmiller604 Most likely the SCOTUS will rule that presidents, and ex-presidents, have partial immunity, just as judges have immunity--they can't be sued or prosecuted because of their verdicts.

@Gnomemansgarage Good luck. Congress already tried to impeach Trump over the "muh insurrection" media narrative, and it died in the senate. Section 3 of the 14th amendment doesn't even include the president.

@normanmiller604 He had the constitutional authority to have access to his documents. The Archives and the FBI do not have such an authority. And they wanted Russia hoax documents which Trump declassified and was going to publish. " He showed them to people without security clearance." That's just pure conjecture. They don't know what documents he was holding in that recording. If he considered them personal documents, as opposed to official presidential, there there are zero restriction on who can see them. Look at the FBI raid photo. They have a picture of Time magazine covers. Those aren't presidential records, but personal records.

@AlexanderStHill Biden already has immunity, because the swamp protects their own. His documents case was not even comparable to Trump's. As VP and senator he had no authority to take classified documents. The president can declassify anything, and take documents home. But the president is the only one that can legally do that.

@normanmiller604 To put it another way, the Democrats are the party of the Swamp. They are the wrong people to have in power. And a perfect example of that, is that they're trying to win this election by putting the opponent in jail. It's the same group of pathological liars that made the Russia hoax.
