To be fair, inflation was already a problem during Ford. But Brandon clearly created the problem on his watch. Carter was ineffective at addressing the problem. But you basically need to cause a recession to break inflation. Reagan did that in 80-82.

Bingo. They don't just report false stories. The deliberately lie all the time. They also "stealth edit" stories. That is, they edit stories while hiding that they changed it, such as here deleting the story. In honest reporting, you're supposed to publish a correction.
