  2. The normal way to handle this is to call Stone's lawyer and tell him that he has been indicted. Then Stone can report and the courthouse and post bail. This was completely unnecessary theatrics. Roger Stone is obviously not a flight risk. He's not going to flee the US and leave his house, family, etc. behind over some lying to the FBI charges.

He's made Mueller's team think he has some big scoop(connection to wikileaks), and that he's lying when he says he doesn't. And he doesn't; has nothing to do with any of this. This will give him massive publicity that he can cash in on.

  4. Knowing Roger Stone I wouldn't be surprised if Stone is actually playing the FBI and Mueller. He has wanted people to think he has connections to wikileaks. A very likely scenario is that his denials to Mueller and congress were accurate, although they think he lied, by Stone's intent. The the raid was to intimidate him. So Mueller must think Stone has evidence on Trump. He probably doesn't. But everyone who's bought into this Russia-conspiracy is so gullible.
