  1. It sounds like they do much of the work, probably all of it for the near dead justices. "Supreme Court law clerks share the justices' chambers, do much of their work and influence their thinking. They make recommendations about which cases the court should hear, help prepare the justices for oral arguments, discuss the cases with them and draft major portions of the opinions and dissents."   2. It pisses me off the way major outlets, eg CNN MSNBC, continually lie about basics of the situation. For example, the president has universal power to declassify. It's a constitutional power as C. in C., so there is no "process" needed. And I guarantee in years from now, when the affidavit is released unredacted, that it will reference a BS WaPost story about how "sources say Trump has nuclear documents". It's a human centipede of BS.
