@Illiteratechimp He's firing people who cannot be trusted. E.g. Milley sabotaged the chain of command and contacted the Chinese without the president's knowledge. So of course he got dismissed. He could have be court martialed.

What illegal orders? Do realize Milley went behind the president's back to contact Chinese generals. That's literally treason, and he could go to prison for that.

@evanhi450 "He wants people who OBEY him !" Yes, of course. Generals are legally obligated to obey the Commander in Chief. It's like you guys actually understand the Constitution, but you want to destroy it for some reason.

@alisonlambert1429 The Constitution says the President is the C in C. The generals have to comply with the civilian leadership of the military. Milley was booted because he obviously couldn't be trusted.
