I'm flabbergasted that they're using a fascist aesthetic. The two marines representing the armed forces, during a political speech, showing that they are his political henchmen, the blood red background (in fascism it represents the blood of those who die for the cause). And every time, the Democrats accuse their opponents of what they're doing.

It was a battle lines speech. It was "You are with me or you are with the terrorists." -- except Bush wasn't talking about American voters. I already knew they would be like this, from their behavior 2016-2020, but it's ridiculous. There's no line the Democrats wont cross to win. Fortunately, this will backfire. Attacking the voters is always a bad idea.

Some political consultant said "We need to show patriotism and strength." But they forgot basic US military code, which prevents military from participating in political functions in uniform. They basically took Hillary Clinton's "deplorables" gaff, and made it primetime and upped it to a call to civil war. I mind you, many consider that Clinton speech as what cost her the election. This is going to backfire, because Trump supporters are the largest faction of the GOP. The Neocons and traditional cons. are getting rejected. 92% of Trump's endorsements won. Blue collar America is mostly maga. For example, Liz Cheney lost by over 30%. And Trump is polling higher than Biden. This is a huge blunder because he's attacking the majority of Republicans. Trump's success was based on voters, not the GOP establishment that hated him. Attacking voters is a very bad strategy.

Unlike the Democrats, the populists are the largest voting block in the GOP. The Bushes and Cheneys were defeated. This is the boost they needed to win the Senate also.

Biden gave a speech in front of two soldiers standing at attention -- projecting the power of state violence. And a blood red background.
