  1. Salon is basically Slate or Huffington post, which has regressed even further, and further has no editorial standards. Sam Harris did an interview a few years ago on Salon, with the precondition that they would not edit out any of it. He spent a paragraph talking about how Salon slandered him in the past, and used that as a profit opportunity when he called them out on it. Salon editors deleted that section.
