  1. John Oliver constantly lies by omission. He did a segment meant to prove that the U.S. is a colonial power over its unincorporated territories. He claimed we discriminate against American Samoa because they're US nationals, but not citizens. But he didn't mention that the Samoan government lobbies the US government to keep that status.
