The sentence for manslaughter, 3 rd degree murder, would be 5 years, where the convict would be paroled after about half that time.

@A_Jeff You really enjoy humiliating yourself. The SCOTUS is a much higher authority than the DC circuit hacks who came up with the idea of using this statute to put people away for crimes which are normally misdemeanors.

@A_Jeff The reason for the adjournment of the Congressional meeting was the (fake) pipe bombs found at the DNC and RNC, which were apparently planted by the FBI. (The video shows the cops had no concern for their safety when they found them. They did not clear the area of people. And the FBI investigator was not allowed to follow the lead, which traced the suspect to a car in VA registered to an Army Captain.) So the protesters didn't obstruct the meeting.

Why would you feel bad for the solicitor? They should prosecute cases in a way that respects the defendants' rights and will hold up under review. It's opportunistic and ridiculous to charge people under a 20 year felony who didn't even trespass into the building. (It's not trespass when the cops escort you.)
