  1. Goebbels created the Volkssturm which was full of kids and old people. They basically just got killed because they didn't have good weapons and weren't fit.

  2.  @berndstuckrad488  The Americans didn't even enter the war until December 8, 1941 after Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. America tends to end wars, not start them.

  4.  @maxy4301  It wasn't that type of war. To the top Nazis losing was tantamount to death. Because they'd all be killed by the Russians, or executed for war crimes. Not all wars are a fight to the last man. The US civil war ended when the South knew it was hopeless.
