These people are really proving that they're more fit to lead than Trump. Seriously, when you go to liberal blogs everyone is talking about how Trump is an idiot, mentally unstable, and not in control. I think they're talking about themselves.

There was only one decent movie in the matrix idea. They made a 3rd bad sequel.

@redacted2275 You can tell that something like that is going on when it's lame movie, such as this retread, and the critics give it good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Like they gave Ghostbusters 2016 a "fresh" rating, another unoriginal cash grab remake.
10
I couldn't even pay attention during this movie. After the intro where they do some meta self-referential things it just shows things you've already seen. It's about like other remakes, like the Total Recall remake, where they redo scenes from the original with the tone "Wasn't it cool when...". But they're just reminding you that you're not watching a good original movie.

Did they ever provide an example where Trump mistreated a woman? With Bill Clinton for example, he paid out 800 thousand in a sexual harassment settlement, and their response was always "Oh, come on, it's just sex." But then you're suppose to think Trump is a misogynist because of the Access Hollywood tape from 2006.

They certainly don't want to fact check the Waukesha attack. Even after the trial major media outlets are saying "He crossed state lines with an illegal gun.", an outright lie.

@shroud4269 No. Both Reloaded and Revolutions sucked. The general public agreed with Revolutions as it bombed. Half the movie was just guys in mechs shooting as robot squids, then that had nothing to do with the resolution.

One thing is clear. Any minimization of Islamic terrorism hurts the Democrats and helps Trump. Even if you don't think that's fair, it's still true. In early 2000's more people than ever identified as politically conservative, because the left instinctively apologizes for Islamic terrorism.

It says it all about how unfunny late night TV is that Colbert cried when Biden was elected. Biden is bland and establishment in every way, down to the corrupt foreign payments.
2
@BMN667 This was about like the Total Recall remake. Just an unoriginal rehash with nostalgic references to an original good film. I couldn't even pay attention to the end. I left it on and went to bed.
2
The original movie even had to be convoluted to work. But when they're giving you original images, action, characters, and ideas, that keeps your attention, not the silly plot elements. Eg. the power plant was unguarded, allowing Neo to escape. Harnessing bio electric energy from people would be a ridiculously inefficient power source. It take way more energy to feed a person than you can harvest. Dying in a dream world wont kill you. I don't bleed when I fall off a cliff in a nightmare.

It's amazing that the voice actors have lived this long. I haven't watched the show in decades, just because you lose interest after a while. Most successful shows only last about 7 seasons at most.

These fake hate crimes are always so obvious. He expected us to believe that two guys with MAGA hats were in the gay district of Chicago, and he went home with a string around his neck, which was supposed to be a noose.
1
The Tonight Show wasn't even right for him. The absurdist edginess of of his Late Show just couldn't be moved to the tonight show. That's too bad he went PC. I haven't watched his show after he left the TS. The woke preachiness just kills comedy.

"lateral ableism"? I'm sure that's about as useful as other neo-Marxist claptrap, like having a critical race theorist tell me I'm responsible for slavery.
1
How much of a ridiculous shit lib do you have to be to think Joe Rogan is right wing. This ideological evolution (or devolution) is really depressing. Basically anyone with libertarian values is "right wing".
1
You can spot these hoaxes a mile away. Because they check all the boxes of what an out of touch SJW thinks would happen. "White Trump voters in MAGA hats" check "Yells the N-word and the F-word" check Takes place in heavily Democrat area. check

Shouldn't they be arrested for falsely pulling the fire alarm? That's a crime, and not a trivial one. It can cause panics and stampedes in crowds, and ties up public services with false alarms.

"So Homer, you admit that you've hit rock bottom. No way, I can go way lower than this."
1
I think Joe Scarborough did it.

That's pretty much what the View is. They sound stupid as much as insane. There's even another called the Real Talk, or something.

And college which would invite Mumia Abu Jamail as the commencement speaker, a man who murdered a cop over a traffic stop, is to be avoided at all cost.

According to Google, "Evergreen is a selective liberal arts college with a 98.9% acceptance rate." Hahahahahahaha What? Do they accept everyone who doesn't have a felony record.

The red pill is not a trans allegory. It was even in Total Recall, 9 years before the Matrix; "Take this pill. It's a symbol for your desire to return to reality." It's actually the opposite. Trans is closer to the blue pill, or the regretful red pills, eg Cypher. One theme of the first movie was that the real world was a shitty place to live. And living out your life in the constructed world of the matrix, like constructing your own gender, may be preferable.

In gay men's culture a "bathhouse" is a place where men go for anonymous sex.
1
Hillary Clinton is really the undoing of the Democrats. Any pricipled attack on Trump was (is) negated by Hillary Clinton doing the same only more unscrupulously. I knew this Russia business was complete silly hipocrisy from the beginning. And what a surprise, a politician known for playing ruthless dirty politics and known for the shadiest campaign funding, is more guilty of "collusion" than Trump.
1
MySweetAudrina The Matrix is overrated. But I still liked it. It's originality was perfecting bullet time and including Hong Kong action in a sci-fi movie. The idea of being trapped in virtual reality is not new. That was even done in a 1973 Fassbinder made for TV movie.
1
MySweetAudrina Using humans as batteries is not logical. You'd get more electricity from a lemon.
1
MySweetAudrina The movie is supposed to take place in our Universe, on Earth. You'd get more electricity by putting two coins in a lemon.
1
MySweetAudrina The fact that it's a rather silly movie is not a nitpick. It's a criticism. I have it on a hard drive, and the last times I watched it, I laughed my ass off at parts.
1
There's not a single late night show that's funny or entertaining anymore. It's just this lefty political preaching.
