@knuthamsun6106 It's intent is to obscure the simple fact that she intended to politicize the law. She invented a standard "corrupt intent" which elevates protests she doesn't agree with, interrupting an official meeting, to 20 year felonies. Her problem is that 6 of the SCUTUS justices can easily spot the bias.

@tle7427 He does. Legalese is meaningless jargon meant to defend a non-legal standard, that Jan 6 protesters get upgraded sentencing, while leftist protesters get their crimes and penalties reduced.

@BrettNoneya The capitol was never surrounded. There were protesters on one side whom the cops were firing rubber bullets at. On the other side of the capitol there were doors open and the cops were letting people in.

@wasatchm Because that was a protest the Democrats supported. Charles Schumer could have been prosecuted for the threats he made to the SC out side the courthouse to a crowd.

@SALESPRODUCTIONS Convictions and sentences get overturned over "selective prosecution". Because selective application of the law is unconstitutional. The SCUTUS is about to do that with the Jan 6 protesters.

@sirken2 That assault on the federal courthouse lasted longer than 100 nights. Remember that the Democrats made fun of Trump for being ushered into the bunker. Even though it was their scummy constituency, and the secret service obviously makes such decisions.

@andreimustata5922 " Did that fire you talk about interfere with a specific functioning of white House?" What kind of a standard is that? Arson is a felony. It did effect the White House. The Secret Service took the president to the basement bunker, as is customary when the White House security is breached. Do you realize that the Jan 6 House meeting was adjourned because of the fake pipe bombs (left by FBI operatives), not the protesters.
