  1. Why would Obama be opposed to the legislation to make it legal to sue governments involved in financing terrorism? If you don't want to get sued for financing terrorism, you shouldn't finance terrorism.

  3. To be fair, it is the religious establishment in Saudi Arabia that is responsible for all the strict Islamic laws. They force the monarchy to enforce these policies. The government has a mandate to do this, as the caretakers of the holiest sites in Islam. The king is probably fine with legal booze, but politically he has no choice.
