You guys all assume that Thomas, Sotomayor, and Jackson wouldn't be on the court if it weren't for affirmative action, because blacks and hispanics need favoritism. But only the latter two are loyal to their masters.

  4. That's the second reason why it's a bad policy. Clarence Thomas and Ketengi Jackson shouldn't be treated differently because they're black. Affirmative action codifies that in law. If you have a lawyer or surgeon who is black, you know they are more likely to have been a weak student.
