+TheScholar74 "So I have to ask Mr. Harris, what is the difference between Carson and a Jihadist? " You really need someone to answer that for you? For example, Carson just thinks gays shouldn't be able to marry. Jihadists are throwing them off of rooftops.
18
+TheScholar74 Except he didn't say that. He said that if given a choice between Chomsky and Ben Carson, he would vote for Ben Carson. That's actually a very weak statement. Chomsky came out as a 911 truther in 2011, "There is no more evidence that bin Laden is responsible for 911 than I won the Boston marathon".

It's pointless to use Norways as a model for US health care. It's a country of 5 million with the highest per capita GDP in the world, because of oil wealth. The US is 65 times larger.

The cop who shot Walter Scott was convicted and went to prison. The other case was less clear. But the guy was out of his mind on pcp, parked in the middle of the highway with the engine running, and didn't respond to commands. He probably should have been tazered. That incident wasn't as outrageous as the guy in Arizona who was forced to crawl down a hall, while begging the cop not to shoot, and was shot execution style. There was less outrage because he was white.

This Trump Jr. Russia story is a nothing-burger. 15 minutes of research, i.e. going to the FEC website, shows that campaign laws don't prohibit talking to foreign nationals. It's perfectly legal to talk to Russians about campaign issues, such as getting dirt on an opponent. Foreigners just can't make campaign contributions. People like Rachel Maddow have become straight up propagandists poisoning minds.
6
The foreign policy points he made didn't age well. Trump's bluster was to establish deterrence. Biden's ineptitude has gotten people killed. Trump wasn't a pacifist. He immediately destroyed ISIL. That saved lives. Notice how the terror attacks(that were bad from 2010 to 2016) in Europe, USA and Turkey, stopped.
6
Those polls that the majority support "medicare for all" are meaningless. It's what it would involve that people oppose. Besides the cost, people will lose freedom over choice of doctors and will be put on weaker coverage. There's a reason the Democratic party panicked at the thought of Sanders winning the primary.
6
+David Bergin Any smart person might as well just subscribe to Rubin. He gets the smart guests, Maajid Nawaz, Sam Harris, Douglas Murry, while Cenk interviews CJ Werelman, a fraud trying to get fame by stalking Harris.
5
If you ask people in single payer countries, they say it's great, because it's their country, not because there aren't annoying wait lists and high copays on drugs. It's the same reason a Englishman or Frenchmen will tell you that their countries are free and permissive, even though you can get prosecuted for making fun of someone's religion.
5
+bballercheetahfan3 I'm ten minutes in and Sam Harris is able to own the discussion.
4
+Frank Brettschneider That's actually the only institutional racism which still exists.
4
+Darth Vadnaner Actually, you come off as quite a bigot, who lacks self-awareness.
3
Harris is a victim of the new click bait industry, Salon, Buzzfeed, Gawker, and I would include TYT, but it's just a youtube channel. They don't have journalistic standards. Previously, and still in real news sources, the reporter will be reprimanded for not fact checking or following leads or getting a story wrong.
3
+MegaFarinato I think he makes a good living off of his speaking invitations and books.
3
+William Smith Kyle's comments threads are full of tin foil hatters.
3
+chessplayer You said the "dog whistle " is that Sam's hypothetical involved Iran. But he actually doesn't mention any specific country. Anyone is suspect who uses the term "dog whistle". Because you're conceding that it is not something he actually says, but it is something you are inferring.
3
+toltec1983 He did the same kind of denial with the Rwandan Genocide. Someone in an above comment said it already. But Chomsky is just appealing to dim regressive leftists. Whenever I listen to Chomsky or read one of his articles the faulty reasoning and unjustified leaps of logic and logical backflips just jump off of the page.
3
@BadBigBody You miss the point. I was responding to Kyle's assertion that private health insurance tries to cheat you to maximize profits. The company is even a non-profit. BTW. I've noticed that lefties always get rude and angry when discussing issues. It happens here, where Kyle gets snippity real soon, while Razorfist is just kicking back ready to enjoy the conversation.
3
It's actually the opposite. The Biden WH said they will take no Cuban asylum seekers. Because Cubans mostly vote Republican.
3
This is a corporate media, fake outrage story. How is Crenshaw not like John McCain? Democrats and neocon old guard Republicans like John McCain. The populist Trump Republicans do not like McCain. So what's the problem?
3
@pyroAdapt You wouldn't be able to enact a national health insurance policy based on a country on 5 million -- the size of a small state.
3
@terriej123 The indictments are all ridiculous, and will not survive appeal. These prosecutors just ignore the constitution and precedent in order to make these cases. Eg. The Bragg case doesn't even mention an underlying crime (violating the 6th amendment).
3
@doccarter5283 He was convicted in civil court. His poll numbers are going up, because everyone knows this is pure politics. The civil case was an episode of Law and Order, and NY changed the laws (just for this year) so they could do the case. The business civil case conviction accuses him of lying about the value of Mar-a-Lago. The judge said it is "worth 18 million". Small mansions are 60 million minimum there. They're lying. It's all about your team's character, not him.
3
@doccarter5283 The current polling aggregate has Trump 2% above Biden. ABC/WaPo 52 Trump, 42 Biden. Harvard 46 Trump, 41 Biden. You're actually losing.
3
@Circuitssmith The neocons hate Trump, they all voted for Clinton in 2016 and Biden in 2020. They're a faction of internationalist war hawks.
3
You guys, especially Kyle, owe this guy an apology. I different video shows that he had a bible in one hand and was resting on a cane with the other. He didn't have a free hand.
3
I find it interesting that many people, particularly progressives, instinctively have a negative reaction to the hypotheticals Harris likes to bring up, such as the hostage situation. It's as if they don't like ethics as a subject. But they're also issues people have to deal with every day.
2
+btsororos That's where the TYT gets dishonest about this. Blacks and Muslims have the most anger toward Jews. Cenk was reading a list of bias incidents, and they mostly were in urban areas where whites are a small minority. A girl's hijab pulled off in the Bronx; there're all black and Latino in the Bronx.
2
Smerconish uses as his Twitter avatar then original egg image. True.
2
It's Saudi Arabia and other Arab Persian gulf states, and Israel, who think Iran is the greatest threat they face. So all you commenters who think that he's schooling the US don't know what you're talking about.
2
No. No politician said that Iraq was responsible for 911. The guy in the video is bringing up a straw man in that case.
2
+John Tuffnell Kyle is on the TYT network. There is nobody on the TYT, AJ+, network who isn't at least partially a regressive.
2
+JESUStheATHEIST1 He's also a serial plagiarist. Whose plagiarism got him banned from Alternet--just think about that for a moment; his writings were too sketchy for Alternet. Other sites pulled his articles also.
2
+john phelan I probably has to do with Kyle being on the tyt network.
2
kay jay Well..you are wrong. Harris has written that he doesn't believe there should be a Jewish states. Perhaps, you jump to that mistaken conclusion because Sam Harris is obviously racially Jewish. Racism isn't very progressive.
2
+kay jay If "intentions don't matter", then it doesn't matter if someone's intent is to shill for Israel. Also, do you just vote for a random candidate during elections? Because the only material reason to vote for one candidate over the other is what he/she intends to do. We get it that you don't like Harris. But your rhetoric doesn't mean anything to others when it is not thought out philosophically.
2
+kay jay Good. Progressivism has long been a lost cause, since it's now dominated by SJW regressives.
2
+kay jay So you support Hamas using human shields? What gives you the right to get smug at Harris?
2
+Red Lion This guy is kind of a SJW mangina. Harris sets off all the independent thought alarms of the SJWs.
2
The Chomsky doctrine: You should care more about Bill Clintons transgressions than the Rwandan genocide.
2
Timothy Flood That's better than being a rapist.
2
+Racist Bassist There's not really even much discussion about the religious right anymore. Because the right to a same sex marriage is not much of a gain if we lose free speech rights, especially at universities and on the internet. Censorship is actual oppression. While before a same-sex couple could move in together and say they were married in any state.
2
+WTF BBQ That's a lie. They allowed Ramos to ask his questions. He had to wait his turn like everyone else.
2
This guy's a dweeb. Adam Carolla isn't a snob. He spent 10 years working blue collar jobs, including shit jobs before he got carpenter credentials. What he's complaining about is the attitude of his mom who just drifted through life while complaining about the successful.
2
+Nermin Mamedova What ironic is that Glenn Greenwald actually mildly supported George Bush in the Iraq invasion in 2003. The difference is that Greenwald and the rest of the regressives have convinced you that Harris is bad for positions they agree with.
2
+randomintrestsperson There isn't such a thing as the gun show loophole. All licensed gun dealers have to run background checks regardless of where they make the sale. What you're thinking of is 3rd party private sales are legal, with probably some legal restrictions, i.e. one can't know they're a criminal, etc.
2
Harris' point, which I agree with, is Ben Carson believing the pyramids are grain elevators, is of no pertinence to anything. But Noam Chomsky thinking that there is no ethical difference between Bill Clinton and Bin Laden is disturbing. It's this moral relativism that has gone so far up its own ass that it is completely clueless, that is the reason many from eastern Europe, such as Poland, tend to be Republicans.
2
You guys are going to have egg on your faces if he doesn't run. Kullinski is like Pakman and TYT. He says he's independent. But he repeats corporate media talking points.
2
I've noticed that when ever people are saying some leftist "owned so and so", that that is not what happened. That happened just last week when Emma Vigeland went on Tim Pool. I saw the "Tim Pool got humiliated". But she got thoroughly dismantled, just repeating talking points without backing them up, and trying the "you're a nazi" and getting it immediately thrown back at her.
2
This would be extortion and bribery. If Biden did this he would be impeached, and could be prosecuted.
