  1. kay jay Well..you are wrong. Harris has written that he doesn't believe there should be a Jewish states. Perhaps, you jump to that mistaken conclusion because Sam Harris is obviously racially Jewish.   Racism isn't very progressive.

  2. +kay jay   If "intentions don't matter", then it doesn't matter if someone's intent is to shill for Israel.    Also, do you just vote for a random candidate during elections?  Because the only material reason to vote for one candidate over the other is what he/she intends to do.  We get it that you don't like Harris.   But your rhetoric doesn't mean anything to others when it is not thought out philosophically.

It's silly to unpack the "arguments", because Chomsky would not address the issue brought up about intentions.   He did not clarify how he considers intentions in evaluating actions.   He said a few things related to the issue which obfuscate the issue, i.e. he said that indifference regarding the consequences of ones actions can be worse that malice.  I think that lead Harris to his conclusion that Chomsky doesn't think intent is relevant.  But it's a pointless discussion because Chomsky didn't want his ideas unpacked philosophically, thus the peevish and angry tone his responses.
