  1. I don't get it. It's just a competition of miniature monorail cars inside a tube. Does the tube even have anything to do with it?

  2. Aluminium would be much more expensive and it would have to be much thicker to hold a vacuum. Does Musk's 10 million dollar tube even hold a vacuum, because that was the pivotal idea to this.
