  2. No.  If you take two vicodin you get for spraining your ankle you will not die. Drugs that are as dangerous as you say are administered in a hospital with medical supervision.  There are also black box warnings, where the patient has to sign that they know and accept the risks. Needless to say, if you buy something that's illegal it's at your own risk.
