@shawncrawford3146 Trump never said he withheld aid for an announcement of an investigation of the Bidens. That's a presupposition, of the media, and everyone pushing this. The only evidence is that the announcement didn't happen.

This whole thing is a joke. The president is entitled to ask the Ukrainians to investigate possible corruption. Like all of these "scandals" the bitter Democrats jump ahead 2 or 3 suppositions to arrive at a conclusion that Trump committed some terrible crime. In this case there is absolutely no evidence, of any kind, that Trump wanted an unfair investigation of the Bidens or Burisma--only that's something the Democrats would know about.

These people are such phonies. For 3 years it was: "Trump should welcome an investigation so he can be exonerated if he's innocent." Now it's : "How dare you consider investigating the Bidens."

The Democrats and mainstream media are pretty much the opposite of that. Sondland even admitted in testimony that he had no evidence, but just presupposed that there was some secret deal.

Trump has collected huge amounts of campaign donations from this BS. He's not the one under water. The Democrats are the ones nervous about this.

@michelem7786 That's what's so disturbingly funny about this. They're not convincing independent voters. Trump is not in trouble. The accusation of "bribery" doesn't even make any sense. It's politicians who are bribed, by "civilians" seeking their authority. The President doesn't bribe people. This is just so desperate.

There's even indications that Sondland was sucking up to the media establishment for his own protection, the same was Epstein at first got a short sentence because he was an establishment darling.

@artemisfowl9219 They didn't just investigate the Trump campaign. They forged documents to get FiSA warrants; 2 undercover FBI informants contacted Paige and Papadopolous; They tried to entrap both of them. One informant gave Papadapolous 10K dollars, thinking he wouldn't report it to customs so they could arrest him when he entered the US. But we can't investigate obvious corruption by the Bidens. These people are total liars.

@Agarwaen That's just media speculation. And as we've seen, that's not credible. I mind you, part of the media narrative is that when Trump said on the phone "I wan't nothing, no quid pro quo", that that meant that he wanted a quid pro quo. Now they're arguing that that phone call didn't take place. You should know, that the media and Dems are just throwing BS at the wall. You're not actually stupid enough to take it seriously?

What's hilarious about this, is that the supposed deal to announce Biden was under investigation (which is supposed to be the scandal) never happened. But because of all this nonsense, the public knows about the Bidens shady pay for play scemes, nepotism and extortion of Ukrainian officials.

@gingercat777 You basically need a crime to have the political will to impeach. They can't get a single Republican, and a few Democrats are abstaining, because they haven't found a crime. There is no chance this will get Trump removed.

@stephen3164 They are investigating the Bidens. This has come up in the Ukrainian parliament. And you don't give up your freedom of speech just because you're president. What next, is Trump guilty of "election meddling" if he says Biden shouldn't be president?

@gingercat777 That's the difference with Watergate, and all of these silly media scandals. In that case there was a crime, the Watergate break in, and Nixon our of loyalty, protected the perpetrators. There's no crime in this case. Anyone with basic common sense should look into a company with Hunter Biden as an executive, which is being protected by Joe Biden's extortion.
