  1. He was convicted in an illegitimate political show trial. I have friends that were convicted in such courts in other countries, and I judge them as victims of political show trials not real criminals. The Supreme Court just ruled again, the other day, that split jury verdicts as in this case are unconstitutional. The corrupt judge told the jurors that they could each pick on of 3 crimes. The jury verdict has to be unanimous.
