@PjotrII Trump didn't make the business records. A company comptroller whom Trump had no contact with made those entries. Furthermore, that is a misdemeanor with expired statute of limitations.
17
We don't even know what crime the jury convicted him of. The judge told them they could split their ruling; he gave 3 different crimes, and told them they could each choose a different one. It will not survive appeals.
15
He didn't even appear human. He's hiding behind being a technocrat. Because his department just shook a hornets nest without justification.
13
I know, really. Frank Luntz is expressing shock that the public didn't believe their lies.
10
@PjotrII Nice try. The FEC concluded that the payments WERE legal expenses, and NOT campaign expenses. If he had recorded it as a campaign expense, you people would be calling for a prosecution for not recording it as a legal expense. You people are insufferable.
10
@PjotrII 12 jurors voted on unconstitutional jury instructions. The crooked judge instructed them they could rule on different crimes. Case law requires an unanimous jury verdict.
6
@taddow332 Ok. Name what crime he was convicted of covering up, with the "falsified" business record, that was entered by a company comptroller he never talked to.
6
WTF? You want the US government to seize Starlink for military purposes. That's fascism.
4
It's not constitutional. Case law says the jury has to be unanimous. The SCOTUS would rule 9-0 against this clown.
3
They have an exception for emergencies in Ohio. She was taken to Indiana so the abortion activists would get their narrative.
3
@alexwyatt2911 "pregnant person" LOL
3
Watch the discussion Mygan Kelly has with Dan Abrams. Abrams kept saying "He did something wrong." Every corporate news channel makes employees sign an NDA, that you must sign to get your salary.
2
"Even though he was guilty in every single one of them." That means nothing. It was artificially split into 34 charges, one for each retainer check Trump paid Cohen. He was paying him a monthly salary, so a check for each month.

AOC Alexadria Occasional Cortex

You spit on the idea of security because you're using dead children as a political wedge -- extremely low class.
1
It's not just that Trump is surging. Biden completely tanked in the betting markets. He's only given an average 22% chance of winning. The debate confirmed to voters what they suspected and what the Democrats were desperately trying to hide and spin.
1
Frank Luntz is part of the out of touch media establishment. Many of us knew that the public doesn't trust the political establishment and the media. Intelligent people weren't going to change their votes over baseless smears from Mark Kelly.
1
@julianfrost4827 She's also lying. Starlink was no available over Crimea, because it's Russian territory. He just refused to activated for the Ukrainian attack. Musk has already offered the Pentagon a military version, which would be paid for by the Pentagon and under their control.
1
@brianlevine249 Musk has already provided the DOD with a system through a contract. Pochahontas is lying. I think the DOD wants Ukraine to use the private system, because the US is trying to pretend we're not at war with Russia. The media and Warren are lying. Starlink is not active in Crimea because it's territory controlled by Russia, with sanctions.
1
Trump knew how to leverage deterrence, while Biden does not. Biden has always been really bad at foreign policy. He's on the wrong side of every policy. He opposed the 1991 Gulf War, and supported the 2003 invasion. He opposed the bin Laden raid, and instead wanted to bomb Pakistan.
1
This is going to help Trump. The Democrats actually used to have populist leaning, that involved mistrust of government authority. Now they're complete tone deaf. Trump is leading a populist movement. Trying to crush it with the iron fist of bureaucratic state power is energizing it.
1
So five years later the corporate media is finally reporting the facts around the Russia hoax. I suppose, better late than never. But this is just ridiculous. They can no longer get viewers by straight up lying, so they're going to try journalism again.
1
@eileenluke9791 Get a grip. All of the mainstream media sources reported on the fake Russia story for over 2 years, and it was a deliberate lie put out by bitter Clinton supporters in the security state. The new divide, is between those who like being lied to and those who don't.
1
Even Putin remarked on the fact that the current regimes BS lawfare cases were driving Trump's popularity up. Most people can tell they're lying, and they don't respect them.
1
@tflg3257 Most likely. But it is possible for the SCOTUS to rule quickly. They actually should, as this was blatantly done to interfere in the election. I.e. the Biden administration is cheating. The entire case, and jury instructions, violate the 6th amendment. The prosecution was never specific about what crime the defendant was accused of. That violates the 6th amendment. Split jury decisions are also unconstitutional.
1
@pdg61met The Democrats have become so scuzzy. Russiagate was the destruction of all media norms of evidence and journalistic standards to try to get Trump. Now in 2024 they destroying all legal and constitutional norms in an attempt to get Trump.
1
@cleophusfowler Trump didn't do anything. They convicted him of internal accounting records, made by his company comptroller. His mistake was hiring that low IQ goof, Cohen. Cohen got rich working for Trump. And when he wasn't given a role in Trump administration he acted like a dumped girlfriend. And went to prison for numerous financial crimes.
1
@davyjones7177 Because this wasn't given to the jury until after deliberations were complete!!! You people know nothing about how this rigged process proceeded. Just like Trump's lawyers couldn't bring FEC representatives in to argue against the accusation of election violations.
1
@afrocraft1 How? One shouldn't be convicted of something they didn't do. Trump didn't tell the comptroller what to enter. It wasn't fraud anyways. This is a totally fake case.
1
@PjotrII The jurors didn't "vote clearly". We don't know what crime they convicted him of. The judge gave them unprecedented instructions that they could split their verdict among different crimes.
1
@PjotrII "All data is available" What data? We don't know what crime(s) the jury concluded on. Because the crooked just gave the unprecedented (and unconstitutional) jury instruction that each juror could pick their own crime.
1
Have some shame CNBC. On cross examination this witness admitted literally that Rittenhouse didn't fire until he pointed his glock at him. That may even prevent a jury ruling on the charge. Because the prosecution proved that it was self-defense.
1
Why would he? This clown conducted an unprecedented raid. Has over half the country against him. And is stonewalling still. They have nothing.
1
@darlingdarlene7929 Garland only did that because he was sued, by Republicans. If he had any big evidence he would have said so. There have been 20 cooked up fake Trump scandals that were baseless. But they finally crossed the line.
1
@claybutler It's not going to show that. This was over storage of federal records. The agents broke a lock that they installed 2 months ago. There have been 20 high profile Trump "scandals". NSA unmasking, based on FSA warrants FBI agents lied to get. Alpha Bank--Clinton operative lied to the FBI about some server --supposedly linking it to Trump's computer. Russiagate - complete fabrication. Each time it's "The walls are closing in on him". "It's the begging of the end." And each time it was nothing but agency investigators lying.
1
@michaelheaton1744 Good luck with that. For 246 years an administration has never searched the home of an ex-president. Every president packs has the WH staff pack up all their documents and take them to their private storage. The Biden administration is the first, in history, that has tried to criminalize it, obviously for political reasons. Using the FBI as a political instrument is way beyond any dirty tricks of any past administration.
1
@shanna3148 But the law says it's at the discretion of the doctor. The standard isn't "life threatening", it's more general than that.
1
Interesting that even the left wing of the Democrat party have become total war pigs.
1
And when they don't find anything, this will be a huge embarrassment for the DOJ, Garland, and Biden. I mind the Democrats that every single Trump scandal has come up empty. Russiagate, Alpha Bank server, Manhattan attorney investigating his business, two impeachments.
1
@thetruthiest4916 None of that was proved in court. For example, Trump DID NOT make the record, that was his company comptroller who never talked with Trump. Also, we don't know what crime Trump was convicted of. The judge made the unprecedented and unconstitutional instruction that the jurors didn't have to unanimously conclude on a crime.
1
"I'm hoping this ugliness and gotcha politics can somehow subside." That's very awkward. It was the anti-Trump hysterics that involved calling people "Hitler", "fascist", Joe Biden appointing a special prosecutor the day after Trump announced his run, the multiple civil and criminal cases, etc.
1
The trial has proved that this never even should have gone to trial. He's the prosecution's witness and stated in testimony that he pointed his glock at Rittenhouse first, then Rittenhouse shot him in the arm. This may even not go to the jury. When the prosecution proves the defendant innocent, they can do a "directed verdict".
1
It's a manufactured crime. It was a banana republic move to construct this case. "Show me the man, and I will find the crime." Beria, head of Stalin's KGB. These people went further. They constructed a crime, out of a misdemeanor business record charge (with expired statute of limitations), and vague unspecified election law.
1
A good thing we have a president who is healing division and taking down sectarian tensions in the country. Biden wouldn't even tell protesters not to go to justices' homes, when it's even illegal to do so.
1
@brittanyauckram7457 The people who set up and executed this rigged trial are the criminals. Duh.
1
And Biden canceled American pipelines while dropping sanctions on Nord Stream.
