They typically encase the second stage with U238, which is not radioactive or useful as reactor fuel, but will fission when hit with the neutrons from the secondary. This is where much of the destructive energy from an H-bomb comes from.

I think what he means, even if not intentional, is that excessive or heavy drinking is worse. But just having one or two drinks does not damage your lungs, cause memory problems, or cause your heart rate to spike, your blood pressure to go significantly up and then drop below average.

This is too impractical to ever happen. The orbits of the mirrors would have to be adjusted periodically. The influence of other bodies, solar wind, etc will effect the orbits. The paradox is that any society advanced enough to build such a structure, would have no need to. Such a civilization would already have access to massive amounts of power and materials.

10 billion tonnes of TNT would be 10,000 mt. which would be 100 Tzar Bombs. I don't think that would actually destroy the Earth. There have been volcanic eruptions more powerful than that, eg. Toba.

Amazingly, cats can fall quite a ways--several floors, without injury. What happens if you throw one off the Empire state building?

Modern nukes are generally less powerful than those say in the 1960s. A typical US warhead is the W88, which is a 5 feet tall, 18 in in diameter and weights about 300kg. They can put 5-10 of them on a single missile, launched from a submarine. And 10 separately targetable 475 kt nukes are much more effective than a single 4.75 mt nuke.

That's an easy question. The cost us vert high. And you wouldn't want to put it in orbit, because orbits eventually decay and it would be scattered in the atmosphere.

That settles it. We need to nuke Mars, not the Moon.

There is an 10-15 year old video series by a Dr with a channel, Concordance, that gives detailed research on the health effects of smoking pot. It has many damaging effects, increase risk of strokes, increase risk of heart attacks, twice the carcinogens as tobacco.

Get your ass to Mars.

You can time travel into the future--meaning it is mathematically possible to get to any time in the future in any fixed subjective time. You'd just need a way to travel close to the speed of light, which is is not possible, yet.

Something like 3/4 of the destructive power from a typical thermo nuclear bomb comes from fission, fission caused by the secondary. So they can build small nukes, multiple on a single missile.
