Why did the police just stand there when they were clearly struggling over a hammer? Cop says "what's going on?" when they're struggling over the hammer. Why was a felony suspect being treated with kid cloves? For safety reasons alone, the suspect should have been immediately taken down and put in handcuffs.

@imhighonquack Yes. Pelosi should have yelled "arrest this lunatic". He got a head injury. He cold have been killed. My prediction is that Pelosi was sloshed. So he was being very slow and stupid. He as arrested for DUI last year.

@imhighonquack The media has been lying about this. On the legacy media they're trying to argue that Republicans are bad because they're gloating that Pelosi got attacked. No. People aren't buying the Democrats' attempt to politically exploit this. They're claiming Depape is a "maga Republican". But it's a lie. Depape's website was put up after the attack. Before the attack he sold hemp jewelry and lived in a house with a rainbow flag and BLM sign.

@Nonybusinessxxxxxx "you'd be the same person to cry "why did they attack him without talking first"" No. I wouldn't. The cops did talk first. They said "drop the hammer". It's legal to shoot an armed suspect with a hostage. They were confused because Pelosi's behavior was weird.

The video doesn't match the police report. The police reported that Pelosi answered the door alone then walled away into another part of the house. They edited out a part of it.

@foxdie1001 Pretty much everything is politicized in America, to absurd proportions. If this happened at Mar-a-Lago the Democrats would have had a Congressional Select Committee to investigate the Trump Jr hammer incident.
