  3. I suppose it's just hypocritical of him. But everyone in politics makes the racism accusation based on so little that it's lost all honesty, just power politics. In particular, I've noticed minorities smiling and looking happy when they call someone "racist".

  4.  @johnculley5852  The Democrats are still the party of racism. They've just switched to pro-minority racism. Their SOTU response is going to be from Stacey Abrams who lost an election in Georgia. She's going to give a speech on identity politics and intersectionality. Their position is that identity politics is very good, when it's minorities, but it's evil when it's whites. I happen to think it's universally bad. But people like her created Trump, by reducing everyone to their group and telling all whites that they're racist. What a plan for failure they have.

  5.  @johnculley5852  During the Obama administration the Democrats moved to straight identity politics. It's all appealing to people as they belong to various interest groups, black, hispanic, lgbt, women, etc. They seldom talk about ideas. Notice how their criticism of their opposition is just "bigot", "racist", or "nazi". Even after the 2016 election, they have doubled down on this losing strategy. It's actually anti-liberal, since liberalism, such as in the US Constitution, considers all people as individuals, not group representatives.

  6.  @johnculley5852  It's not hard to see how just calling your opponents "racist", is causing them to bleed supporters. For example, I talked to someone who lives in Tuscon, and there was a house used by human smugglers down the street. One day the swat team was there. The Dems would tell him that if he supports a border wall then "he just hates brown people.".

  10. I can see why he was such a virtue signaler on racism, attacking Trump and his election opponent with an ad showing a pickup truck running down minority children. I grew up in the 80's and the Klan and blackface were considered just as aborhent then.
