  1. That's an understatement. People are relying on private US citizens to send money so they can bribe the Taliban at checkpoints to make it to the airport. These people were encouraged to stay because the Biden administration thought (or pretended to think) that the Taliban wasn't going to take over. The Biden presidency was such a bad idea.

  4. They didn't say that, until recently. The Taliban welcomed al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Now the Biden administration is trying to minimize the Taliban because they allowed them to take power.
