@TheNewCoalition Inflation was 1.4% when Trump left. And inflation could go to 0% and grocery prices would still be >50% more than in 2020.

@ralphmixx6346 The moderators were actually better than usual. The usually try to "fact check" the Republican. But that's the job of the other debater. The moderators are not supposed to participate in the debate.

@vihuelamig Inflation in the US was going up before Putin invaded Ukraine (exploiting the weak US president). It was up to 5% by March/April 2021. Then it continued to rise to a maximum of 9.5% in early 2022. It was caused by Democrats' gleeful out of control, spending. Gas prices were also at $2.40/gal in January 2021, and were driven up to $5-6/gal by Biden's policies.

@vihuelamig That also brings up another point about the political class' incompetence and something Trump was right about. He warned Europe to not depend on Russian gas. The US doesn't buy Russia gas, and was energy independent at the end of 2020, so that wasn't the inflation driver in the US. Again, it was grossly out of control government spending.

There is no way to remove Biden from the ticket this late. Trump will win. And polls show that voters favor Trump on "protecting our democracy" over Biden. Voters don't care about CNN BS narratives.

Trump is most likely going to win. You just have to accept that some elections your guy is destined to fail. Mondale was never going to win in 1984, and the Democrats didn't try to burn down the country over it. The Democrats screwed up too much this time. Inflation and high interest rights are hurting people, particularly the lower income. And they're running a mentally infeebled person.

@UMAMIMAMU It was the massive, out of control, spending in 2021 that cause inflation. The Democrats did that. Inflation is a regressive tax on the people. The Biden administration printed a massive amount of money to pay for their massive spending bills, which involves devaluating everyone's savings.

@nicolaasstempels8207 "it was 1.4% during a depression." Does Biden plan on causing another depression just to get rid of the inflation he caused? The Fed had to raise its rates 5% to try to reign in inflation. That drove the cost of buying a house sky high. This is the main reason Biden is losing. All these factors are a burden on people. And all Democrats can do is make excuses, or blame others. Trump is definitely going to win.

@SoB_626 Trump is going to win. The Democrat attempts to prosecute Trump are just election interference, i.e. cheating. And it is a fail. Nobody even knows what the conviction in Manhattan by the Democrat donor judge and activist prosecution is even over.
