@SaturdayClothes They have 2 choices. Either just kill it immediately, the magnanimous thing to do. Or, have a trial and subpoena Joe and Hunter Biden, Adam Schiff and the "whistleblower", and expose this farce. It seems better to not waste anymore time on this. But when you have people abusing their power and constantly lying like the Democrats, sometimes you have to punch back just as hard.

Just because Rand Paul is smart enough not to fall for fake partisan BS. If this were at all legitimate then Obama would have been removed, impeached and convicted, for the Iran deal.

Except Trump isn't accused of doing that. If Ukraine is a hostile government then Congress made a serious mistake giving them hundreds of millions in aid.

How's that any different than the House. The only votes changed there were a few Democrats voting no. This will fail as a legal process (it isn't. it's a political process) because the charges are so vague and against legal precident that they'd never hold up in court. Both "obstruction of congress" and "abuse of power" are fake charges.

This impeachment is purely political retaliation for Trump winning in 2016. The House prevented the Reps from calling witnesses, asking certain questions, and they kept controversial testimony that might weaken their case in private. You don't conduct a partisan witch hunt and then demand impartiality when handing it over to your opponents.

@esmawaldron5597 Some Russians got a small amount of government money to do some minor internet trolling: some twitter trolls, and 100K USD worth of Facebooks ads. The ads supported various candidates, got very few views and some appeared after the election. This is really minor stuff. But they Democrats latched on to it as an excuse narrative for why they lost. There's no evidence that a single vote was swayed buy any of it.
