  1. They weren't "deported". Their parents were, and the kid goes with their parents. This is such a weak attempt at controversy. It's been like this the whole time. Babies born in the US get birthright citizenship. But that doesn't give their parents legal residence, so they leave with their parents. What's the problem?

  2. @user-xt4wu2lp7u They're not deported. Their parents didn't have residency so they left with their parents. It's always been like this. Babies get birthright citizenship, but that does nothing for their parents' immigration/residence status. End birthright citizenship if you don't like it.

  3. This is such a lame attempt at controversy. All the time, people come to the US on say a work visa, have a baby, and then take the baby back with them when their residency expires. The kid can use the US citizenship when they grow up, but it doesn't give the parents residency.

  4. This isn't "shocking" at al, and happens all the time. People who are "undocumented" or in the US on a visa have a kid, and the kid gets birthright citizenship. But the parents do not have citizenship and have to leave. The kid goes with their parents. The kid gets citizenship in their parents' home country. If it were any other country, you couldn't even spin this as bad, because the kid wouldn't get birthright citizenship.

  8. I'm wondering if you guys sufferer from mental retardation. No one who is a citizen get deported. These are kids who go back with their parents. If you have a baby in American on a visa, one doesn't normally leave them in the US. What's wrong with you?
