Game developers are 80% men for the same reason engineers or chemists are 80% men.  It has to do with personal choices.  Someone that does a gender studies or communications major, like Anita Sarkesian, is not going to want to do physics. Nearly as many women play video games as men, so there is no motive for developers to discriminate.

  4. I don't even play video games, how long are people going to push idea that video game nerds are violent and dangerous, like Islamic radical, and yet years go by and no one has acted on the mean troll comments sent to Sarkeesian or Wu.
