@ArveEriksson The author did not retract the books. He died in 1991. It's the corporation owning the copyright, infected by toxic leftists. This is cancel culture.

That's not the same thing. Pakman's tactic is always to play dumb. Supporting candidates you like and opposing those you don't isn't cancel culture. Banning the sale of books, such as the 6 Dr. Seuss books, is cancel culture.

@ArveEriksson The Pakman show is always an exercise in disingenuousness. Banning the sale of books for censorious reasons is quintessential cancel culture. They're not even selling the copies they have printed. Sites, such as Ebay, are prohibiting the sale of used copies.

@ArveEriksson That's what Cancel Culture is. Pakman is being disingenuous as usual. It's a social shunning tactic that's used in cults. Certain books and movies, politics, are banned in the Jehova's Witnesses. They can't legally ban them. But they'll do things to you if you don't comply.

@DMOWAIVERS I only follow Pakman on the hate watching commentators. The Hard Bastard does good take downs. He's not worth taking seriously. His commentary is a combination of intentionally misconstruing an issue, i.e. playing dumb, and outright lying. For example, in the TX immigrant controversy, he described it as migrants sneaking in, and the bigot Republicans accused them of having COVID. In reality, the CBP tested migrants caught at the border, they tested positive for COVID and they were intentionally released into the US. The difference between Pakman and TYT, is that Pakman is smart but intentionally dishonest. Cenk is just ridiculous. Cenk blamed white people for genociding the Neanderthals a couple days ago. (The Neanderthal went extinct 40000 years ago).
