  2.  @debbieknight8901  That's not book banning. Public school teachers don't get to choose the textbooks. That's done by the government. Regardless, that's stupid. Choosing textbooks isn't book banning. It's even a scam industry. The textbook are generally really bad, and they charge high prices.

  4. This so stupid. Selecting textbooks for teaching is not book banning. The Dr Seus example was a case where a publisher was coerced to stop printing books.

  5. Public school teachers don't get to choose the textbooks. No books are being banned by the state of Florida. They choose which texts to use, and buy those. Choosing which books to buy, isn't banning.
