That's because the German press, and Health Minister, are repeating the same false story, based on an "anonymous source". The only evidence is CureVac's statement which flatly denies such an offer was ever made. Reuters has stealth edited their story.

Things happen all the time. The most consistent conspiracy theory is that a CureVac CEO lied about this offer from Trump. Because since the EU has offered CureVac 80 million Euros to stay. But as of now this more fake news that TYT is spreading. The companies says there was no such offer, while the German press went with an anonymous source. I could find anonymous sources that say that Michelle Obama is really a man, and has a penis, but it doesn't make it real news.

@harrydehnhardt5092 I know. But you could equally concluded that Hoerr stepping down was part of a conspiracy. But it doesn't mean anything without evidence. This is just the overseas version of the same fake news that comes out of the US media. The latest is that Trump supposedly told governors "You're on your own" and to get supplies themselves--which is a total lie, and complete distortion of what he said.
