  2. People like AOC will shoot themselves in the foot, thinking they're sticking it to...someone. Corporate income taxes should be low or non-existent with the personal income taxed. Corporate profits with either be reinvested or payed to employees and shareholders. The latter will pay income taxes on it. Taxing it at the corporate level is less competitive. If it's only taxed at the personal lever, companies will move in and competition will make salaries rise.
