  2. It's obvious that the charges are for Adams challenging the Biden administration's immigration policy. The bribery statutes can be stretched to prosecute just about any public official. There was a VA governor whom Jack Smith convicted of bribery and the verdict was overturned unanimously by the SC. He took gifts but Smith didn't prove a quid pro quo.
