When I live in NY state (Long Island), I was attacked by some psycho. I wasn't hurt, but I could tell that he put me in a military headlock where you break someone's neck. So I went to a shop that stun guns and real guns. When I went to the gun counter, I told the guys what happened and they gave a curt "There's no self defense license." I'm confused by that. Because I've never heard that you had to declare the purpose when buying it. So apparently if you buy a gun with a target or hunting license, you can't use it for self-defense? That still doesn't really make sense.

@robertgallagher7734 Neeley was a "previously convicted violent criminal". And you're defending the use of a deadly weapon. So it's obvious all of us you have some other bias, perhaps racial.
