"They don't have freedom in Canada?" They don't have a first amendment. You can get prosecuted for expressing non-PC opinions even if they are factually accurate.

@MarinaDiamandis4Ever Not sure what you mean. It's true. Some conservative talkshow host got prosecuted for "hate crimes" for quoting Islamists. It is in the law, that your speech can be proven true, and you're still guilty of a "hate crime".

None of the countries in the Western Hemisphere would exist were it not for Columbus. That's enough reason to celebrate him. All the Indians living in reservations in US and Canada are basically living in their own states within the country--which provides them with free benefits, eg. health insurance, and security--there are no tribal wars anymore.

@seanking1775 "Only the rich are free in the US, you're just a wage slave." Whomp, whomp. Canada has much weaker constitutional rights, and that offends you.

@Grumpini The difference is that the US was founded by intellectuals who were also revolutionaries. They told a government to f-ck off, and had to fight a war over it.

@austinbyrd4164 He seems to think only "rightwingers" are subjected to censorship. Even my example makes that moronic. Islamists are the far-right of the muslim world. Canada is full of cucked progressives. Basically like Portland OR.

@seanking1775 Triggered aren't we. Apparently, you think only "right wingers" are censored.

@iironhide6209 Well, it's like scientific breakthroughs. Credit goes to the one who did it first.

@polinco737 Zwarte Piet? He's Dutch not Canadian. Their Santa Claus' side kick who's played by a white guy in blackface. (Though, true "blackface" is where they leave white around the lips and eyes to make a comical/insulting caricature.

@BB-dv5ms It's just about every country, that has some "freedom of expression" guarantee, but is qualified, can be taken away in circumstances. Which is oxymoronic. It's not a right if it can be taken away in circumstances.

@redtree8254 That's a lie. If that were true, then "hate speech" wouldn't be a crime. But it is, in Canada. "Hate speech" is just hurting someone's feelings. Truth is not a defense.

russianbear54 That's goofy. Everybody knows the vernacular use of "retard" doesn't refer to down syndrome or whatever. It's synonymous with idiot.

@settame1 It's a total cultural left thing to do today, to judge the past by our current standards. For one thing, it's really boring. It gives one no understanding of history.
