And the DA doesn't even care that he was illegally carrying that gun. What's up with that? The DA is going after a 17 year old with a strong self-defense case, but allows someone with a prior record to violate the law.

There's some selective prosecution here. They knew Grosskreutz illegally carried that gun, and they also expunged a felony conviction of his (apparently so he wouldn't be guilty of a federal gun crime). They wanted to uses Grosskreutz against Rittenhouse. But that backfired, because there were two types of people at the riot. Those there to protect property and people, and those there to destroy.

@CharlesLumia I think the DA even expunged a felony DUI conviction. They apparently did that so he wouldn't be a felon. So he would look better as a witness. Also, possessing a gun as a felon is a felony.

@CharlesLumia It's really a stain on the country. I'm living in a country which, although a republic, has a legal system with a bad record. But I have to admit, the same shit is happening in the US, eg the Flynn prosecution, where the DOJ withheld evidence so they could force a plea deal. And then later would not back down after they illegally extorted a plea deal. I actually think they're going after Rittenhouse hard, because there is power in the mob, intimidating the public with violence. That wont work if people can defend themselves against it, exercising their constitutional rights.

@James_Bee That may not even be illegal. The defense is claiming there is a long gun exception. But the DA has gone out of their way not to prosecute Grosskreutz. He had a felony conviction that they expunged just before the trial.

If the city of Kenosha paid this guy 10 million because he pointed a gun he was illegally carrying at a 17 year old, then they're F-CKED.

MSNBC showed Grosskreutz crying (single tear is visible) as a screen shot of their video. But they're such liars, that they completely leave out that he's crying because he just blew the prosecution's case. They completely leave out the cross examination, where his story falls apart, and the prosecution's case is destroyed.
