  7. Thanks Burkhard! I know Germany's place in this war is being hotly debated amongst Europeans right now, and I am not European. I don't want to appear too critical, as Germany still has done a lot of Ukraine by taking in refugees, providing financial assistance, and air defense systems.

It is not my place to favor one over another, but given Germany's economic size and their robust defense industry, I do feel like they should be taking more of a leadership role in Europe concerning this war.

  11. Poland is partnering with South Korea to manufacture tanks in Poland. Within 5 years I think most of Europe will be buying arms from Poland instead of Germany.

  15. I agree! I am hopeful that more countries like Greece, Spain, and Canada might also annouce joining this Leopard 2 coalition. I don't think it is unreasonable for Ukraine to have 100 of these tanks on the battlefield within the next couple months.

  20. You don't officially ask for something and embarrass your "ally" when you have already been privately asking them for months and they keep saying "no." Saying "they haven't officially filled out the paperwork" is a stupid excuse for people defending Germany.

  21. Turkey is preventing Russian warships from entering or leaving the Black Sea. They are also handling all negotiations concerning Ukrainian grain exports and prisoner of war exchanges. Sure, they could be doing more, but their economy is currently a disaster. So for now, everyone in NATO is happy with the role that Turkey has accepted being a gate keeper and moderator of exchange.

  23. Yeah... you put something in quotes and didn't give a source or say who you were quoting. I gave three different news articles saying permission has not been given by Berlin and I quoted the Polish Prime Minister saying he can't get consent from Berlin.

  24. I showed three different news articles saying that Germany has not yet given consent for Leopards to be transferred from other countries to Ukraine. I quoted the Polish Prime Minister. If there is a misunderstanding, then it can easily be cleared up by Olaf Scholz saying all tank transfers will be approved, which he has not done.
