I might turn my Robinhood brokerage account challenge idea in to just a $1,400 stimulus check challenge, lol

Waller's Wallet is quality content! That's great company to be a part of! Thanks Jack!

If you actually watched the video (which you didn't), you would understand why I don't care. I'm still going to make money even if the market goes down. Anyone can.

Hey D! As a swing trader, I would want to check the market for at least 20 minutes a day. But I don't need to know everything about everything. I don't place stop loss orders. I don't panic sell anything on news. If I stopped trading for a week and then picked it back up, I honestly would be fine. I should never be in a position where taking a week off would ruin me (like being in penny stocks or speculative stocks with no fundamentals).
2
Hey LW! Yeah, I don't think any kind of significant drop is coming. And I think the worst case scenario is the market just starts trading sidewise starting this summer. People are going to be very bummed if it stops going up after going up 80% in the last year, haha.
2
I am working on it B! Cheers!

The 3000 or so publicly traded companies NOT in the S&P 500 are speculative and volatile. They fail or are bought out all the time. If anyone is lying about their books and defrauding investors, it is in the small caps. Since they only make up 20% of the total stock market, I choose to exclude their volatility. They still correlate with S&P, but the S&P is more representative in my opinion.

Thanks for the high praise aramtas! I appreciate that!

@peternguyen1960 , it's a tad complicated, but triple leveraged funds try to (promise to) replicate the price movement of just that day, not the long run. They don't perform 3x over the long run because they don't hold long term assets like a true index fund does, they hold derivatives. Additionally, they don't pay dividends and they have super high expense ratios. I really should make a video on this topic.

Hello!
2
Haha, thanks Nate! I'll be sure to make that video when it is time to be worried!
2
Yep... the general public loves a good panic!
2
Hey David! If you don't know where to start, then you can't go wrong with a total stock market ETF like VTI. Check out my video on the different type of investors: https://youtu.be/kRWv8-B9CLs
2
Yep! Lots of different factors at play. Let's see how this plays out!
2
Awesome! Welcome to the channel Steven! Great to have you with us and I promise to keep bringing you down to reality content in the future! Cheers!

Unemployment benefits expire on March 14th... so like an 8th grader and a science project, Congress will wait until the night before to get their homework done. But I see the S&P going over 4,000 once that bill is passed.
2
Haha, Congress won't pass the stimulus bill probably until the 14th, so you'll get a chance the next two weeks.
2
Haha, you could start a YT channel and just post weekly update videos on the price movements of VTI, lol. If you toss in some jokes, I'd subscribe to that. Cheers Wackzingo!
2
I think buying is always a good time if you have the money and are not looking to sell in the next 3-5 years. If you are day trading or active trading... who knows! I think the market will go up 5%+ once the Dems pass their 1.9 trillion stimulus bill.
2
Thanks for watching Ani! I think the stimulus bill will pass within 2 weeks and the checks will go out soon. Big gains coming before mid-March!
2
Thanks Shams! I really do appreciate the support! I'm not about that drama in my life and I don't feel the need to play it up to drive clicks. Cheers!
1
Thanks so much Ryan! I greatly appreciate that and it is a huge honor!
1
Haha, stocks on sale for sure! Cheers bangpaulxu!

You are very welcome mc1ovin! Cheers!

To the moon for sure for the S&P! haha

Thanks for the comment Butch! I wish you good fortune with your stock picks!!
1
Hey Andy! I think all the growth stocks that have gone way past their justified valuations based on 1 year projections will see sell-offs and that money will rotate in to value stocks that have good fundamentals but have not yet recovered to their pre-pandemic levels. Last year "fundamentals don't matter" was what drove Tesla up to $880 a share. I think this year, fundamentals matter!
1
Hey Jim! Thanks for the comment and support! I am a Captain in the Air Force and my degrees are in Geology and Political Science. So, no, I don't have a background in finance. But I've read a bunch of books and taking some online courses on Udemy and Coursera to learn as much as I can.
1
Yep, I think large funds do the fake outs to panic other to sell. They then buy back in in extended hours or early hours to capture price movement from other panic selling. There is nowhere for the money to go. People shouldn't fall for it!
1
FOMO is getting a lot of people right now. What people were putting in to the meme stocks at their highs was madness!
1
Yep, I think there will be a rotation of money from growth stocks in to these stocks over the next couple months. Cheers!
1
Awesome! Welcome to the channel Mike! Great to have you with us!
1
Thanks for watching WLTR! Cheers!
1
Hey Ricardo! Yes, as soon as the stimulus is passed, I see at least a 5% jump for the S&P.
1
Thanks David! Cheers!
1
You are welcome Lucian! Cheers!
1
Those are highly speculative stocks. Be careful!
1
Thanks ginger!

I agree Peter! It's unfair for 401k investors because they can't profit from a market downturn. However, with a retirement account, if you still have decades left to invest, I don't recommend trying to time the market anyways and instead to just buy and hold. If there is a dip, it will recover! Always does!
1
Thanks Daniel! I don't think the money will leave the market, I just think there will be massive sell offs of growth stocks and a rotation in to value stocks that haven't recovered to pre-pandemic levels yet.
1
We'll see q n! If I blow it up, I'll make a video about it!
1
Awesome! Welcome to the channel Scott! Great to have you with us!
1
Thanks raymond! The market is just flooded with money right now. I definitely see S&P 500 hitting 4,000 by April. Maybe the market will peak then, lol. But it won't be this week.
1
I'm not really on Discord yet, lol. I still need to get with that as it seems to be becoming more popular. Cheers EG!
1
Meet Kevin just makes too many videos. The YouTubers I follow and really like, I have notifications on and watch all their stuff. Kevin puts out so much stuff, I can't watch it all so I don't even bother watching any of it.
1
Awesome! Welcome to the channel Lucas! Great to have you with us!
1
Ha! I agree!
1
We'll see! I think the next 2 months especially will be exciting.
1
I'm not familiar with RIOT and MARA. 20% is a lot! Hopefully you were still positive from your cost basis. Cheers Jackson!
1
Nice! If only I had more free money right now, lol
1
You are very welcome Ruta! Cheers!
1
I think once the 1.9 trillion is passed, everything will go up. That's a lot of money! lol
1
Thanks for watching Chandrasekhar! Cheers!
1
Thanks dralerma! I will do my best! Cheers!
1
Sensationalism drives clicks! It's all a game.
1
I agree Casey! There is a lot happening to make sure this economy doesn't take a dip. Things might change later this year once the pandemic is officially defeated, but for now, I think the money is flowing and people in government are more or less trying to get things done.
1
Thanks Xin! Cheers!
1
Awesome! Welcome to the channel TRS! Great to have you with us!
1
Nailed it, lol. Doomsayers who missed out on +30% growth immediately start celebrating the second they see a 3% drop.
1
STONKS! haha, cheers Andrew!
1
haha, of course!
1
Thanks for watching Marl! Ads are unavoidable, but I try to keep them reasonable. Cheers!
1
Thanks so much Chris! I greatly appreciate that!
1
I'm not familiar with that Jonathan. I can look in to it!
1
I agree Stan! Yeah... hopefully we actually are getting past this pandemic and we won't see another crazy black swan event... i want to feel normal again at some point this year, haha
1
We'll see Javier! Maybe we could see 10%!
