Glad I can find clips you haven't already seen! I sometimes avoid stuff that everyone shows for this very reason. Cheers!

Thanks martin! I appreciate that high praise!

I upload every other day. And I prep a video in the morning and it takes me hours to film, edit, and then upload. News breaks all the time but I am just one person and I'm not going to kill myself blaming the breaking news game. If you want up to the second breaking news (this exact minute) about the war, then get on Twitter and just keep hitting refresh. That isn't what YouTube is.

Thanks V! Glory to the heroes!

Hi Kirk!

They definitely do everything imaginable to completely destroy their government, military, economy and global reputation all at the same time. A year from now it is going to look very bad for Russia.
2
Russia lies about all their stockpiles, so nobody knows. The fact they keep rolling out ancient equipment from the 1950s and 1960s is a good indicator that they are running out of everything as they burn through their old Soviet stockpiles.

America still has over 4,000 different banks. We have plenty of small and regional banks, haha. If we lose less than 10 a year, most people don't even notice.
2
Uhhh, "bank taxpayers" is not a thing. The FDIC insurance fund is paid for by banks who want their deposits to be FDIC insured. If you paid for car insurance and then got in a car accident and was paid out by the insurance company, would you be saying the US tax payer paid for your car insurance claim?

Haha, thanks Iain! I do enjoy lots of dark humor shows and movies.

Thanks Emil!

Thanks for the incredible support Gerry! I greatly appreciate it! Cheers!

I actually agree with you. I think all the depositors holding over $250,000 should have lost their money... but whatever. If these business accounts lost their money then they would have fired and laid off people and that would have got political as well. I think more banks later this year will fail, so we'll see what happens when all the money in the insurance fund is just gone.
1
Oh I 100% believe the Bank CEO is guilty of insider trading. He knew the bank was having liquidity issues and he sold 5 million of his personal stock. I think the guy should be in jail for that, but that's up to the Justice Department to decide.

Haha, I hate PragerU. But ads are tailored to the viewer, so you must have clicked on some videos to leave nasty comments and now PragerU thinks they can turn you.

The money to cover all the depositors is coming from the insurance fund. All banks pay in to the fund to have FDIC insurance. All of SVB's $220ish billion in assets have been seized by the government as they have failed. That isn't $220 billion in depositor funds, that is $220 billion in assets and investments. If the federal government wants to just hold SVB's bond portfolio and just let them all mature to expiration, then they won't lose any money by selling them for a loss on the current market. There are lots of solutions here and none of them involve using tax payer money (which would require a vote by Congress anyways).

Thanks for the incredible support stoltzo! I wish you the best! Cheers!

It's an insurance pay out being paid for by the insurance premiums all banks pay in to the FDIC insurance fund. Not sure what to tell you if you want to ignore facts and just state whatever you want.

I LOVE that reference! No, i didn't even think of that! The hero of canton!!!

I mean, in hindsight it does look stupid. But when they were buying 10 year treasuries after their deposits doubled in 2021, I don't think anyone at the bank was predicting that the Fed was planning on raising rates by 75 basis points at four consecutive meetings. That is something the Fed has never done before. How do you plan ahead for an event that has never happened? They thought they were being responsible by buying long term treasuries.

Thanks J J! Cheers!

That is a lot of money, but it was 1/15th the size of Bank of America. I'll start panicking myself once Bank of America fails.

Thanks for the incredible support Jeff! I greatly appreciate it! Cheers!

I personally want all the depositors with over $250,000 in deposits to lose their money. I couldn't care less about Silicon Valley startups and tech companies. But it's political both ways. If the federal government does nothing, then people will howl about all the small businesses going under that lost all their money and all the hard working people who did nothing wrong and now they don't have a job because they can't make payroll. I think the world has bigger problems than the FDIC insurance fund covering these deposits. All shareholder equity was wiped out, all the bond holders were wiped out, and all of SVB's assets have been seized and will be auctioned. It's like... whatever, let's move on.
1
You are not wrong. I'm fine with seeing all these depositors lose money, but then people would be howling about "small businesses" losing millions and having to lay off employees who did nothing wrong because they lost all their money in a bank collapse. This year is definitely going to see more bank collapses, but at the moment there is nothing to worry about from the largest banks.

You got it Mr Teabag! Cheers!

Haha, it's fun to imagine how stupid and pathetic the Russians really are.

Thanks Martin!

I have had difficulty with YouTube "checking" my videos lately and they have taken more than an hour sometimes. Today my video was approved in minutes for some reason. I also randomly woke up an hour earlier this morning because daylight savings has thrown my body off. End result was an earlier publish!
