  1. Thanks for watching everyone! I forgot to mention it in the video, but I did not factor in all the time I am spending on my Masters and that is time not spent on other income earning activities (like making Youtube videos). There is definitely an opportunity cost there as well to consider.

  5. Hey Andrew... yeah, I have friends in this situation. So many colleges are only giving people year to year contracts as adjuncts. There is no job security and the pay isn't enough to justify the education cost. It's a problem!

  12. Hey Joe! Yep, I have looked in to being a defense attache if I stay in. Sounds like a great job. I also did take the foreign service officer test 5 years ago before I joined the Air Force. I am looking to take it again this fall just to see how it goes.

  15. Thanks for the comment Aaron! I feel like I am getting a good price at a state school for $20K. I know lots of other PoliSci Masters programs can easily be 2x/3x that much. I think I found a good balance with reputation and cost with my school. Cheers!

  19. Hey gabe! UNO was my choice because I wanted the best online Masters in International Relations for the best price. You can definitely find a school that is covered under your TA allowance, but you have to ask yourself if you actually respect that school's degree or not. If you are just checking a box and don't care what you are learning, then go with a cheap school. But if you want to be challenged and have a more reputable degree, consider paying some out of pocket as an investment.

  22. Hey Jon, I agree. There is an affordable education crisis happening in America right now. There is plenty of blame to go around... and sadly nobody has a plan to fix anything. I can't say how much worse it will get when it is already pretty bad...
