  6. Hey Eliza! Putting spend on a credit card to purchase bitcoin I am sure violates the agreement with the credit card banks to received a sign up bonus. Perhaps there are people who have successfully done this... but people get accounts shut down all the time or have their bonuses clawed back after receiving them. Banks have fraud detection squads who look for this, and I can't recommend that anyone try and do this. In my opinion the risk isn't worth it.

  7. Yeah, I really don't spend that much on gas. Especially here in North Dakota. I live right next to base, so I probably spend $20 a week max.

  23. I think those who are grandfathered in can only get the 5% rate for a couple more months. You might want to double check when they are changing reward rates for existing holders.

  30. Hey Yumyam! If you got the Duck's card before they changed it, then you should still be getting the 5% cash back on gas unlimited. At some point the card benefits will change for you, but you can ask them or check your terms of service once they change!

  32. I don't know of any gas stations that charge an extra 0.10 per gallon when you pay with a credit card. My advice would be to not fill up at that gas station. Your math is correct.
