  1. As a Brit, I cannot understate how huge and devastating this murder was at the time. She was extremely well known and well loved, she was shot on her own doorstep (almost appearing like an assassination) with a handgun in broad daylight (which was very rare in England) PLUS she was a longtime presenter of by far the most popular 'public appeal crime solving' program on English t.v. The man who got convicted of the crime was innocent: he was wrongly profiled by the police. So this crime is still unsolved, and a very curious case. Thank you for covering this case in your own inimitable style.
