  23. I just don't believe the Dalai Lama is a p**0: he has been one of the most documented and constantly accompanied people for 80+ years. So I don't think the first time we would hear about anything like this happening is from when he was on stage in front of loads of people. I can't explain what happened (like you I have only read a transcript) and it doesn't sound in any way appropriate, but to surmise that the man is and has always been a danger to children is bonkers to me. I guess we'll just have to wait for all the other victims to come out now before we nail him to a cross.

I have a theory that behind the scenes, while the other contestants were waiting to go up, they got told by the ex-contestants that this girl was just buzzing everyone as soon as she could just to stay in the game. So her antics pissed off most of the other people there - and so the rest of the afternoon just descended into a tense, open hostility: with people only really interested in getting to the button first (without looking like a complete d¡ck in the process). Thoughts?
