  1. I don't know what people expected to happen: it's Elon "mediocre track record" Musk! I just hope more people will now realise that E.M. is not some super-genius weed-smoking Tony Stark figure: he is just some guy born into massive wealth that was at the right place at the right time with a boat load of cash to dump into someone else's ideas & hard work. And now he has become one of the richest people on the planet, and the kind of prat who would waste $44 BILLION dollars on a what, a vanity project‽ Just imagine what he could've done with, the good that could've been achieved with $44 BILLION dollars, instead of this basically huge waste of money. I think it's time to stop feeding Tesla/Elon millions upon millions of tax payer's money (through government subsidies etc). Plus, I never want to hear about Elon getting the human race to Mars and singlehandedly saving humanity again. It was always a ridiculous proposition in the time frame, especially considering planet Earth (and every human on it) is hurtling towards the climate catastrophe.
